A Studio One student performance about tenants and their relationships – or lack thereof – with their landlords in the Lower East Side.
A theatrical interpretation of stories from residents and organizers from the Lower East Side, presented by STUDIO ONE in collaboration with Cooper Square Committee and BeBop Theatre Collective. The production, performed by the students of the Studio One theatre workshop, takes the audience on a journey of the battles between tenants, landlords and speculators, using poetry, prose and humor. Directed by SaMi Chester.
