The planning facilitator for Seward Park, John Shapiro, provided Community Board 3 with a 2nd draft of the planning guidelines for Seward Park on Monday, December 13th. The near final draft spells out the land use plan for the largely vacant 7-acre urban renewal sites. Seward Park Committee members and the public are invited to respond to the document. Please email Cooper Square Committee to let us know your thoughts about the plans for commercial development and mixed-income housing on the sites. We may be voting on the document in January, 2011.
